Why different organisms use different kinds of nutritional process?

here is your answer...

It depends on a few things.  

1.) The climate the organism lives in.  

2.) Depends on the resources available to the organism in it’s ecosystem.

3.) Depends on the physical needs of the organism.

For example, if it’s in a cold climate, only has bacteria that lives in frozen water, and it doesn’t need to move much. Then it were to only need very little food in order to function.

But, lets say the organism lives in a warm climate, has a plethora of food, and must move a bunch. Then it would need more food than the cold climate organism.
