The amoeba has a typical body structure of single cell body this structure is also helpful in its reproduction . Amoeba while engulfing a food stretches it's surface or membrane in finger like projections called pseudo podiatrist which is also called a false foot. With these projections they engulf food and other organisms . Well the process of engulfing food in amoeba is call phagocytosis.
