Animal cells do not possess cell wall because there is no need of them.the cell wall that found in plant cell are made up of cellulose and animal does not contain that.the cell wall in plant cell maintain the cell shape , and almost have of its cells have an exoskeleton. but the animal cells have the cell membrane to act as protective layer..
