Plants have large vacuoles to maintain osmosis pressure, turgidity of cells.
As the as the pants have cell walls but the Animals don't the cell walls. Cell walls provides stiffness to the cell. The vacuoles stores water, nutrients in plants do the plants have large vacuoles as compared to that of animals

A vacuole serves many functions in plant cell than in animal cell. Vacuoles in plant cell provide stiffness to cell along with cell wall.It helps in maintaining osmotic pressure.It even stores water and food since plants are immobile (fixed in one place).
