Farmers use fences to keep out unwanted animals. Sheep can be rotated between pastures so they have younger, tastier plants to graze on. Goats are good for pastures because they spread manure as fertilizer and eat many plants that other livestock won't. Some farmers feed their livestock grain in their barns.

Hey mate here is your answer

✒ Farms are businesses that raise animals. As farmers operate their businesses, they often grow food, too. Some of the food grown on farms feeds farm animals, and other food is sent from the farm to feed people. ... You might see cows, pigs, chickens, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, and donkeys living on farms.
