The oxygen enters the bloodstream from the alveoli tiny sacs in the lungs where gas exchange takes place. The transfer of oxygen into the blood is through simple diffusion. The oxygen molecules move, by diffusion out of the capillaries and into the body cells

1-respiratory pigment --haemoglobin

2-location --- RBC

Having a large body it also requires a great amount of energy for which respiratory pigments are present to supply energy to each and every part of the body (multicellular organism).

In humans, Haemoglobin is such pigment and is located in the blood
