Large body size animals have respiratory pigment because blood is not able to carry oxygen to all the tissues. Respiratory pigment increases the oxygen carrying capacity of blood.
Heamoglobin is the pigment which carry oxygen to different parts of the body
it's present in the blood stream
Heamoglobin is a macromolecule and is most important protein in the body
