As there octet or duplet is completed so they don't need more charge to stable and so they are already stable

Elements in other groups have partially filled valence shells and gain or loseelectrons to achieve a stable electron configuration. An atom may give, take, or share electrons with another atomto achieve a full valence shell, the moststable electron configuration.
