Why do developed countries want developing countries to liberalise their trade and investment? What do you think should the developing countries demand in return?

The developed countries want the developing countries to liberalize their trade and investment so that they can easily focus on their import and export segments. Also by removing barricades from their trade and investment, many developed countries can set up their offices in the developing countries, vis-à-vis earning profits.

The developing countries in return can put some obligations or set of norms or policies so that the developed countries can’t be able to benefit much from them.
