The boiling point of a liquid depends on the intermolecular forces present between the atoms or molecules in the liquid since you must disrupt those forces to change from a liquid to a gas. The stronger the intermolecular forces, the higher the boiling point.

Every substance is made up of different atoms and molecules.
So, they have different forces that keep then binded to each other. For example ,
Diamond is sp3 hybridised non metal and iron which is a metal , both diamond and iron are made up of different molecules and have different lattice energy as well as different bond energy.
The substance which have low energy (lattice energy, bond energy , etc ) melts faster than the substance having high intermolecular energy.
