There are some nutrients which are needed by the plant for their growth and development. Fertilisers and manures add the required nutrients to the soil. Addition of manures and fertilisers helps in increasing the crop yield and maintain the soil fertility. Hence, farmers add fertilisers and manures in the field to replenish the nutrients.
