Why do fish and frogs lay eggs in hundreads whereas a hen lays only one egg at a time ?

A hens egg is more safer than the eggs given by frogs and fishes.

In water, the safety of eggs depend upon weather, predators, etc… So frogs & fishes lay 100s of eggs out of which only some overcome these threats & hatches out… But hen's egg is more secure than that of fishes & frogs … So hen lay only one egg at a time …
