Why do fish live longer in an aquarium with water plants?

this happens because of the oxygen content. when there are water plants in the aquarium they release oxygen so they can survive for more time. but when there are no plants in the aquarium the oxygen content is less there so the fish may have less life span.

because there we give them a proper requirement to live properly........

we give them food oxygen as per the requirment.....

but in ponds or rivers or seas they have to struggle to live...

that's why they live longer....
