Why do fruit fall off the branches in strong wind explain?

Answer:

The fruits fall off the branches when the branches move because of inertia of rest of the fruits.

The fruits along the branches are in rest but when the branches get into motion the fruits tend to retain their state of rest and as a result the fruits fall.
