Why does blood only go once through the heart in fishes?

Answer:

We have four chambered heart but fishes have two chambered heart and also they are cold-blooded animals so there is no need of efficient supply of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.

Therefore only single circulation of blood takes place in fishes.
