Why do gamma rays have no charge?

they are not made of protons, neutrons, or electrons
they have equal numbers of protons and neutrons
charge is balanced out by their intense frequency
they are constantly emitting all their protons and electrons

Beta particles ionise atoms that they pass, but not as strongly as alpha particles do. This means that they have no mass and no charge. ... Gamma rays do not directly ionise other atoms, although they may cause atoms to emit other particles which will then cause ionisation.....
