why do gas have no fix shape or volume

bro gas doesn't have and fix shape or volume because its atom or molecule are very loosely packed than the solid and liquid state . but also water doesn't have any fixed shape because the molecule of water are also loosely packed than solid but not that a gase ok.

molecules in a gas are very far apart compared with the molecules in a solid and liquid.
