Why do HCl ,HNO3 etc show acidic character in aqueous solution while compounds of alchol and glucose do not show acidic character ?(2marks)

When HCl and HNO3 is added they release H+ ions and therefore they show the acidic nature in aqueous solution. But glucose and alcohol does not release H+ ions in the aqueous state. Therefore , glucose and alcohol does not show acidic nature in the aqueous state...
