why do HCL, NH3 show acidic characters in aqueous solution while solution of compound like alcohol and glucose do not show acidic characters why?

Because hcl , nh3 have hydrogen ions in aqueous solution where as alcohol and glucose have not hydrogen ions in aqueous solution.

HCL and NH3 show acidic characters in aqueous sol. as the ionisation occurs in it, while alcohol and glucose do not ionize,
