why do herbivores animal have longer, small intestine than carnivores

herbivores have a tendency to chew the eaten food once again this is known a chewing the cud, so to digest it finely they have long intestine canal as compared to carnivores who digest their food in a single flow.

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
