India has a tropical monsoon climatebecause most of India lies in the tropical belt and her climate is influenced by the Monsoon winds which mainly blow in the tropics ie. 200N and 200South. High temperatures during summers and dry winters are some of the characteristics of the Monsoon types ofclimate.
Subtropical humid. Most of NortheastIndia and much of North India aresubject to a humid subtropical climate. Though they experience hot summers, temperatures during the coldest months may fall as low as 0 °C (32 °F). Due to ample monsoon rains,India has only one subtype of thisclimate under the Köppen system: Cwa.

Hello dear❤️❤️___

India have tropical and sub tropical climate because there are large number of factors influencing climate of India. One such factor is latitude, Tropic of Cancer almost divides the country into two equal parts from Rann of Kuchh to mizoram. The region lying south of the Tropic of Cancer is tropical where as the region in North is subtropical.

HOPE IT HELPS DEAR❤️
