why do insectivorous plants have autotrophic as well as heterotrophic mode of nutrition ? briefly explain

Insectivores plants are autotrophic because they get nutrition from soil an can grow from that too.
They are heterotrophic because they have the structure which can trap insects and they can fulfill thier nutrition.
