Why do insectivorous plants use insects as food ?

They are insectivore and their body needs what is found in insects and they need more carnivore than herbs and so they use insects because they are the ones which are easily catch up and are in high number.

some plants grow in places where there is deficiency of vitamins for suppose growing in a soil which provides no nutrients and a place where there is no hope for sunlight. these conditions make the plant to seek out for help and when they do so sometimes they fulfill their needs by digesting insects. they are termed as insectivorous plants as they fulfill their needs through insects. this occurs mainly due to nitrogen.
These plants consume insects as food to fulfill their nutritional(nitrogen) deficiencies.
