it is usually seen that plant leaves fall in seasonally like in autumn. the answer of this is that , this is an type of excretion plants accumulate their wastes in leaves and when the wastes become in high quantity the color of leaves become yellow and in autumn plant get rid of these wastes by falling them down. the yellow color is not due to least chlorophyll.
