Why do many parents give less priority for girl child ?

Hi

Since a long time girls are considered less than boys.

Its a mindset that boys are stronger than girls in everything.They consider girls as a liability..and that boys will be more profitable in future.

As it has become a mindset it is difficult to change and even if some girls prove out to be better they are not paid attention to....And thus given less priority.
