Trade Barriers are usually established by governments for several reasons. The main among them being to protect and promote domestic industries or trade, as reciprocal reaction to restrictions imposed by other countries, economic sanctions, to prevent flow of inferior quality goods into the country etc.

Trade Barriers are imposed by nations, to restrict free flow of goods and services between countries.
