Why do not clean ponds or lakes but an aquarium needs to clean regularly explain?

Ponds donot needed to be cleaned but aquarium needs to be cleaned. This is because aquarium do not contain soil and decomposing bacteria which helps in degrading complex organic substance into simple inorganic substance and act as a cleaner .

Ponds and Lakes consists of soil and organic matters which keep the water clean but in an aquarium it is made of glass and has no soil or any micro organism in it so it requires regular clean. Even the uneaten particles of fish are decomposed in the pond but it stays in an aquarium.
