In the experiment done by Galelio,
he found that every object either of different masses fall towards the earth at the same velocity and the same rate,because the acceleration due to gravity does not depend upon mass of the object
but the question arises about the feather,then the answer is that the mass of feather is so much less compared to its area.
we know that,
F=G×m1×m2/R^2
ma=G×m1×m2/R^2
a=G×m1/R^2
where, m1 is the mass of earth
G is gravitational constant
R is the radius of the earth
so, by this formula, we concluded that the acceleration due to gravity does not depends upon the mass of an object
