Painters use sand paper so that to remove rust The actual motive of painting is barrier protection. Since rust is non sticky, painting on it Will fall off and i'll be of no use so painter rubbs it with sandpaper

Painters use sandpaper before polishing doors due to the following reason:

  • The rubbing of sandpaper before polishing doors reduces and smoothens the surface.
  • It also reduces friction and painting becomes easier. Thus, a painter can paint uniformly on a smoother surface, which looks better than paint on a rough surface.
  • Moreover, the sandpaper works magically to give an even and smooth texture to the door.
  • Therefore, when applying a fresh layer of paint to the wall, or while whitewashing dirt on the wall easily due to the sticky layer of the paint.
  • It is produced in a range of grit sizes. Not only smooth, but it also makes the surface rough sometimes.
