why do people have a tendency to take extreme steps while taking decision in group than alone?why does this happen?

Answer:
Because when a person is in a group he/she can take opinions of others in the group. But, when the same person is alone he can't take right decisions because other people are not here.
And an important thing to say that: Decisions are not right and wrong when you take it. You understand later that the decision which was taken by me was right or wrong.
