why do people loose trust on mischievous peole

I have.I trusted one person so much in my life.I told whatever I could say and I thought I was happy.then I was ditched.I was hurt and felt broken.till yet I am not able to trust people.I am still healing from within.
Trust is a very strong word .people have trust on them Who r caring .
