animal cells dont have cell walls becoz they do not need them.cell walls present in plants, maintain cell shape,as if each cell has own exoskeleton.this allows plants to stand up right without a support of any muscles

<b> All cells have cell membranes, and the membranes are flexible. So animal cells can have various shapes, butplant cells only have the shapes of their cell walls. That's nice for plants, because it gives them the ability to grow up and out, where they can getlots of sunlight for making their food.
