Why do plants give out CO2 only during night even though respiration takes place throughout the day ?

Answer: plants give out CO2 during the day as well as they respire in the same way as us humans. The amount of CO2 released in the daytime is less as CO2 is used in photosynthesis. But at night time no since no photosynthesis take place regular respiration takes place.
