Carbon dioxide plays a vital role in animals and plants too.

In pants Carbon dioxide is used in the process of photosynthesis. Plants use energy in sunlight to convert to water to sugar and oxygen. The plants combines carbon dioxide with water to allow plant to extract what it needs for food.Without the source of carbon dioxide, plant will die off. And without plant life the earth's biological food chain would be terminally broken.
