Plants do not need any organs for respiration like other living organims. It because :

Plants have special structures on their leaves called as stomata through which they can perform exchanging of the gases. So, they do not require any organ for respiration. But animals have special organ named lungs for performing respiration.

Explanation:

  • Plants do not need any specific type of respiratory organs like animals because plants have stomata in their body. By these stomata plants do their respiration for their body.
  • The stoma is present throughout the body of the plant. The animal’s respiration takes place by the lungs in their body but plants do not need any that type of organ to complete their respiration.
  • The other cause is that the oxygen which is necessary for the breathing of the animals is produced by the plants by the process of the photosynthesis.
