Why do Poles exist in pairs ??

Magnetism is produced by electric current. A magnet will always have a pair of poles, a north and a south because magnetic field lines are continuous and always form closed loops. Each magnetic field line is directed from the north pole to it's south pole.

The magnetic poles always exist in pairs.It is not possible to seperate the two poles of a magnet. If a bar magnet is broken at middle in two parts, each part is found, to be a magnet.......thus the two poles of a magnet exist simultaneously...
