hey there ,

The Prices of food grains rises during drought .

this is quite obvious and the reason is very simple.

During drought , there is no rainfall and the land becomes infertile and unsuitable for plants to grow and live .

This results in decrease in production of food grains and vegetables .

As the production decreases and the demand is increasing there develops a competition between the consumers for food .

The one who pays more gets the item . Thus the price of the food grains and vegetables increases in leaps and bounds during droughts.

HOPE IT HELPS :-)

THANK YOU

because during flood the crop failure occur and because of this there is no provision of food to eat that's why very little quality and quantity of good crop and vegetables remains left that's why the prices of food grains etc.rises
