why do prices of food grains,fruits and vegetables go up if our country receives less rain? explain!

It happens so because when the rainfall is less the production of the crops or the food grains and fruits and vegetables are consequently less, therefore there is a shortage of stock of food crops in the market and therefore there price Rises up what increases. hope it helps ..
