Why do seeds need wet soil to germinate and grow into a big tree??

Seeds need sufficient water and atmospheric condition along with suitable soil to germinate. moisture helps in activation of enzymes in the seeds that promotes germination.so,seeds need water to germinate and grow into a big tree.

Becoz seeds need moisture to grow and for photosynthesis and to be protected from heat.
