Solid conducts heat better than liquid because the molecules of solid are closely combined with each other and that is why the heat and electricity rapidly spread in the solid and liquid conducts better than heat because the molecules of liquid is close than gas and it conduct heat better than water
E.g.for solid:heat passing through a metal rod
For liquid:heat or electricity passing through water
