here is ur answer!!!
we know that copper is a good conductor of heat. the copper bases conducts heat well and thus the metal gets heated up faster and food gets cooked easily.
however plastic is a bad conductor of heat. to prevent the handles from getting heated up it is made if plastic. otherwise it would be difficult to hold the vessel.
