here's the answer...................
If we had one single time zone for Earth, noon would be the middle of the day in some places, but it would be morning, evening, and the middle of the night in others. Since different parts of Earth enter and exit daylight at different times, we need different time zones. ... Each time zone is 15 degrees of longitude wide.

due to different te of sunrise and sunset......for eg....
if in India the time is 7 am then in Paris there will be a time lap of approx 3 to 4 hrs as the sunrise at paris will be held after 3 to 4 hrs on compare to india....
