Actually, the formation of the constituencies depends upon the population of the state such as Uttar Pradesh hacing the maximum population has 80 constituencies whereas Union Territories like Daman And Diu has only 1 constituency.....

A constituency is a geographical area that is represented in Parliament. As a result, every other constituency has one MP. As a result, the MP represents everyone in his constituency. Every constituency is now designed so that each MP represents an equal number of people, or nearly equal number of people. As a result, because Uttar Pradesh has a larger population than Maharashtra, it has much more constituencies.
