Why do sperms have tail but ovum does not have it

sperm have a well devolped tail as one of its part because as we know that the tail are used for swimming.like this only sperm cell have to swim while ovum doesnt

The testes produce the sperm. Testosterone is the hormone released or discharged by the testes. The long tail of the sperm accommodated them to pass in the female fetus spores. Ovum is greater in dimension and holds the stock food material. This is why the sperms have a tail but ovum does not have it.
