Nuclear fusion powers a star for most of its life. Initially the energy is generated by the fusion of hydrogen atoms at the core of the main-sequence star. Later, as the preponderance of atoms at the core becomes helium, stars like the Sun begin to fuse hydrogen along a spherical shell surrounding the core

Stars are undoubtedly large celestial bodies in our universe, they are large sources of energy.

But these stars evolve in their whole life span which is also known as the stellar evolution in the astronomical science.

This stellar evolution mainly happens due to the unstable physical nature of the star's ecosystem. This instability mainly happens due to the continuous nuclear fusion and fission reactions in those stars.

At the ultimate extention of this stellar evolution,a star explodes and creates huge supernova.
