why do stars twinkle but planets dont.

affanahmad49: The continues charging atmosphere is able to cause variations in the light cing from a point sized star due to refraction because of which star appears to be twinkling. on the other hand the planets appear to be quite big to us.The contuosly changing atmoshere is unaable to cause variations in the light coming from a big-sized planet due to refraction because of which the plantes doesn't twinkle at all

Answer==>

Stars twinkle due to atmospheric refraction.Stars twinkle because … they’re so far away from Earth that, even through large telescopes, they appear only as pinpoints. And it’s easy for Earth’s atmosphere to disturb the pinpoint light of a star. As a star’s light pierces our atmosphere, each single stream of starlight is refracted – caused to change direction, slightly – by the various temperature and density layers in Earth’s atmosphere. You might think of it as the light traveling a zig-zag path to our eyes, instead of the straight path the light would travel if Earth didn’t have an atmosphere.

Planets do not twinkle because The planet are closer to the earth as compared to the stars so the light receive from the planets must greater and the fluctuation caused in the amount of light due to the atmospheric reaction are negligble as a compared to the amount of a light receive from them so that our planets do not twinkle.

The presence of conventional current caused due to heat of sun change density of various layers  so the light has to pass through these densities and they continuously changes and appear to tiwinkle but the planets are near to us as compared to stars so they don't twinkle .hope you like Mark as brainliest
