Good experiences with individual teachers will help you develop a deep respect for them as they develop a deep respect for you. But regardless of the teacher, it is always important to show respect and that is because showing respect is a professional obligation for adults, and those adults who cannot seem to show respect when they don’t feel it don’t go as far in life as those who do.
It’s generally expected to show respect as an adult to all people in positions above yours- and even more professional to show it to those in positions below you. If you can learn this as a student, adult life will be much easier for you.
