Archeologists look for the bones of animals and other creatures as :-
an animal and other creatures grows, so its bones grow and undergo modification and repair. Thus the form of the skeleton at the time of death is one point in a process of continuous change. By the time archaeologists deal with the bone, it is a hard, dead material, much altered since the animal's death.
