farmers sometimes plug the soil deeply to loosen it so that the roots of plants can breathe properly & also can observe the nutrients that are inserted in the soil like manures and fertilizers .. ploughing of soil increases the soil fertility

hey mate,
Generally farmers follow various methods to increase the soil fertility
one of such things is this one
they actually do this to increase the fertility of soil
ploughing also improves the nutrition levels of the soils
it actually regenerates the soil by sending the top soil down and bringing back the new soil
there are many ways for the farmers to increase the fertility of the soil
some of them are
*crop rotation
*mixed cropping
and many other ways
but now a days farmers are using chemical fertilizers and polluting the soil fertility
I suggest the farmers to use organic fertilizers like organic manure
hope this helps u :)
