Why do the leaves of water lilies and lotus have the stomata on the upper side?

bcoz at lower surface they have contact with water so they cannot exchange gases

stomata was on upper side because stomata is use for exchange of gas the stomata is upper side because air movies in upper part of the leaf where change of gas easily take place
